Jack Orlove is the Principal Risk Manager of Cyber Communication Inc. in Sacramento, California. Jack was the co-founder of Cyber Communication in 1999 and through his 27 years of experience in networking, computers and business brings a well-rounded view of security and business continuity to the company. He has nine years of experience working for such OEM's as Digital Equipment and Fore Systems. Jack has also supported the major American military commands in Europe, Central America, the Middle East and the in the US. Rounding out Jack's experience is 14 years with Verizon as a technical engineer, sales engineer and as a manager.

Jack's security exposure started as a 2nd class Petty Officer in the Navy where he received his Top Secret Clearance. His civilian classified work continued for over 20 years as he supported both military and Department of Defense security sensitive projects, both in the US and abroad. His work spanned the globe and included managing the network of 17 US embassies and maintaining the secure communication on many US military projects. Jack also provided direct support for General Schwarzkopf and the US Central Command.

Jack has been more focused on Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery for the last few years. He has project managed and been lead engineer on CalTrans' IT Disaster Recovery plan and is updating the California Lottery's Business Continuity Plan. Jack has also been subcontractor on a variety of private sector recovery plans to include one for California's 7th largest credit union.

During Jack's travels he also found time to graduate as Valedictorian from Nova University with a Masters of Business Administration, obtained his CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Professional) and many vendor certifications. Jack currently serves as the president of ASAP (The Association of Sacramento Area Planners) and as assistant Marketing Director for The Sacramento Valley ISSA (Information Systems Security Association). He is also part of the Crisis Response Team for the City of Sacramento California.
